  •      At minimum, pkginfo file should contain:

• prototype definitions

  •      create the software  `configure --prefix=/dir', where dir is temporary install directory.
         e.g /opt/local

         'cat /tmp/files |pkgproto >/tmp/prototype
          
         this will create a /tmp/prototype
