We need a second machine, e.g. tethys

 * burn image /project/dell_proje2850/Firmware_Updates/CD18FUP.iso on CD
   further information in  /project/dell_2850/Firmware_Updates/00README.sw
 * downtime tethys, shutdown tethys, take out both disks
 * put the disk with errors (select timeout) from machine with degraded raid into tethys slot 0 
 * boot tethys from CD, this makes automatically the firmware upgrade
   * comment: machine stops in BIOS, multiple ENTERs necessary
 * put back the disk into the original machine again, the rebuild should start
   * check with /usr/sbin/dellmgr if the rebuild is running
