We need a second machine, e.g. tethys
- burn image /project/dell_proje2850/Firmware_Updates/CD18FUP.iso on CD
- further information in /project/dell_2850/Firmware_Updates/00README.sw
- downtime tethys, shutdown tethys, take out both disks
- put the disk with errors (select timeout) from machine with degraded raid into tethys slot 0
- boot tethys from CD, this makes automatically the firmware upgrade
- comment: machine stops in BIOS, multiple ENTERs necessary
- put back the disk into the original machine again, the rebuild should start
- check with /usr/sbin/dellmgr if the rebuild is running
