Set Bcc automatically

  1. Login to Zimbra

  2. Click on "Preferences" --> "Filters" --> "Outgoing Message Filter" --> "New Filter"

  3. Enter the name of filter, "Automatic Bcc" as an example.

  4. Choose "Any" in "of the following conditions are met"

  5. Choose "Size" then "Over" and enter "0" value in the empty box.

  6. Click on "+" sign and choose as previous step but replace "Over" to "under".

  7. Choose "Redirect to Address" and enter the email address that you want to be in Bcc.

  8. Click OK.

/!\ This only works for mails sent via the Zimbra Web Client and won't affect mails you will send through other clients (like Mac Mail, your iPhone, etc.).

Share calendar for external users

The feature will be enabled when the migration is finished for all users at DESY.

Create SPAM filter on Zimbra

  • Go to Preferences --> Filters --> Incoming Message Filters

  • Click on the button Create Filters

  • enter as filter name e.g. Junk

  • set Header Named X-Spam-TaggedAsSpamByDesy contains YES

  • as action move into folder Junk

  • go to calendar --> New Appointment

  • fill out Subject ...

  • if necessary Attendees

  • click on the link Suggest a location and choose the room from the list on the right side
